• Is it because you are afraid of ridicule and what others will say about you?

  "For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels." Luke 9:26 
  

   

• Is it because of the inconsistencies of people that claim to be believers in Jesus Christ?

  "So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God." Romans 14:12 

   

• Is it because you are not willing to give up all for Jesus Christ?

  "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" Mark 8:36

   

• Is it because you are afraid you will not be accepted by Jesus?

  "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." John 6:37

   

• Is it because you fear you are too great a sinner?

  "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." Isaiah 1:18

   

• Is it because you think you are doing the best you can, and God ought to be satisfied with that?

  "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. " James 2:10
